ATP Statement on War in Ukraine
Apple Tree Partners (ATP) stands with its many colleagues in the life sciences industry who are appalled by the unprovoked war started by Russia against Ukraine. ATP does not have investors who are involved with Russian businesses or in Russian political affairs, nor has it invested in or worked with Russian companies or within Russian borders, and we have pledged not to do so. We are proud of our longstanding relationship with the Rybolovlev family trust. Dmitry Rybolovlev is a physician who left Russia more than a decade ago and who shares our dedication to biotechnology innovation and medical progress. The Rybolovlev family trust has no association whatsoever with the current Russian political regime. The Rybolovlev family trust investments in ATP have made possible the creation of more than twenty biotechnology and medical device companies to date, all working to translate important scientific discoveries into new therapeutics that will improve human lives.
